Illinois Division
Sanctioned Events for the 2017-2018 Season.
All participants in the following events are expected to be
current competitive members of USFencing. Host clubs must have at least one
rated referee at each event.
All adults conducting the event (referees, bout committee,
armorers) are expected to be US Fencing members in good standing, completed SafeSport Training, and
background check whenever minors (under 18) are participating.
The tournaments below are tournaments sanctioned by the Division
or by USA Fencing (national tournaments not being held in Illinois are not
included; see the USA Fencing Events Page).
In general, tournament organizers will use askfred.net to post details
about the tournament and to conduct pre-registrations.
Organizers are responsible for submitting rating changes
earned at sanctioned events to the IL Division Secretary (Judy Van Cleeff, jkvancleeff@gmail.com).
Rating change requests cannot be submitted to USA Fencing unless all
participants and host personnel are properly registered. All submissions must
be accompanied by the Events Officials Report.
